Project Goal
Community-focused identity
The Idea
We Are Waterford was created as a local-first campaign concept designed to celebrate independent businesses, community identity and pride in Waterford.
The project explored how a simple and recognisable visual identity could be used across digital campaigns, local promotions and social media content.
Visual Direction
The visual direction focused on accessibility, warmth and recognisable local identity, using Waterford-inspired colours and simplified graphic elements.
The aim was to create something modern and flexible that could work equally well online, in print or as part of local promotional campaigns.
LinkedIn Campaign Concept
Alongside the core visual identity, I developed a LinkedIn-focused social media campaign concept highlighting local businesses and community engagement.
The goal was to create professional but approachable content that could work across local business promotion, events and community storytelling.
Social Media Campaign Concept
I also explored how the campaign could extend into broader social media formats, using consistent messaging, colour and layout across multiple post styles.
The Approach
- Created a flexible local identity system
- Focused on community and recognisable regional branding
- Developed social-first campaign concepts for LinkedIn
- Balanced modern visuals with local familiarity
- Designed the system to scale across different campaign uses
The Outcome
The project demonstrates how community identity and local business promotion can be supported through clear branding and digital campaign thinking.
It also highlights the importance of consistency across identity, messaging and social media presentation.
