Project Goal

Clearer recruitment website journey

The Idea

Altitude began as an exploration of how recruitment websites could communicate with more clarity and confidence. Many recruitment sites rely on similar layouts and messaging, so the project became an opportunity to test a more focused approach.

The aim was to avoid the generic feel that many recruitment websites fall into and instead create something more direct, modern and memorable.

The Design Challenge

Recruitment websites often need to speak to two audiences at once: candidates looking for opportunities and employers looking for talent.

The challenge was to create a structure that felt clear for both groups without making the homepage feel crowded or unclear.

Social Campaign Direction

Alongside the website concept, I explored how the Altitude identity could extend into social media campaigns and recruitment-focused messaging.

This helped turn the project from a simple website mockup into a broader brand and campaign direction.

My Approach

  • Developed a clear recruitment-focused brand direction
  • Created messaging around growth, movement and progression
  • Designed a clean homepage structure with obvious user paths
  • Used a confident visual style to support the “altitude” theme
  • Kept the layout simple, readable and conversion-focused

The Outcome

The final concept demonstrates how a recruitment website can feel more focused and approachable while still presenting a professional service.

As a concept project, there are no client metrics attached. Its value is in showing the thinking behind the structure, message and visual direction.
